Bio
Dr Bridget Mutuma is a Lecturer/Research Scientist at the School of Pure and Applied Sciences at Kirinyaga University, Kenya. She has a BSc. degree in Analytical Chemistry from Kenyatta University, (Kenya, 2009), an MSc degree in Material Science and Engineering from Kangwon National University (South Korea, 2013) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa, 2016). Dr Mutuma has extensive postdoctoral experience in nanomaterials, sensor technology and energy storage systems. Her research interest is on the development of core-shell nanostructures/carbon-based nanomaterials and their application in gas sensors, solar cells, supercapacitors and photocatalysis.
