Dr. Chris AC-Ogbonna is a seasoned economist, policy analyst, and senior lecturer at Phoenix University Agwada, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. A native of Uburu, Ebonyi State, he holds B.Sc, M.Sc, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from Enugu State University, University of Port Harcourt, and University of Calabar, respectively, with a specialization in Economic Development. He also holds a Postgraduate Advanced Certificate in Education from Veritas University, Abuja.
Dr. AC-Ogbonna began his academic career in 1998 and has since held roles in media, academia, and research. He is a fellow of the Africa Science Leadership Program at the University of Pretoria and has held leadership positions at Veritas University, including serving on the Directorate of Research and International Linkages.
With over 15 years of academic experience, he has published 45+ scholarly articles and book chapters, reviewed for high-impact journals, and contributed to national and international research projects. His work focuses on macroeconomic policy and development economics. He is also deeply involved in academic mentorship and university administration.
Dr. AC-Ogbonna is a member of several professional bodies including the Nigeria Economic Society and the West African Green Economics Development Institute. He has received multiple awards for academic excellence and leadership from student associations and university communities.
